HISTORY NOW MADE, THE U.S. AND CUBA FACE A BUMBY ROAD AHEAD
April 12 Cuba and the United States make history. This is the first meeting of its kind in 60 years. Obama and Castro sat down for over an hour and discussed moving a step closer to restoring diplomatic ties. Obama is being praised by Latin American leaders for ending decades of hostility. They are working towards reopening embassies in each other's capitals and freeing up trade and travel.
